Taking place on Lesser Slave Lake for a weekend in August, the Golden Walleye Classic brings out both experienced fishermen as well as newcomers. With a total cash payout of over $60,000 including $250 prizes each for the Oldest Angler, the Youngest Angler, the Top Guy/Gal Team and the Top Gal Team, the weekend is both fun and rewarding.
